Coming soon

Let the Coder see which of your sites and servers are down, their response times, and past incidents. Read only, with UptimeRobot's read-only key. Coming soon.

UptimeRobot checks your websites, servers, and ports every few minutes and tells you when one stops answering. Once you connect it, the Coder can see what is down, for how long, and how fast each site answers, so it starts from the facts when a server needs looking at.

Which assistants use it#

AssistantStatus
CoderAvailable

It suits a Coder with the IT administrator role, which looks after your servers.

What assistants can do#

UptimeRobot connects through its own hosted connector, and it is read only.

AbilityHow it runs
See monitors and which are downReads on its own
See uptime, response times, and past incidentsReads on its own
Create, pause, or change a monitor, a maintenance window, or a status pageNever run from chat

Setup (when it opens)#

  1. In UptimeRobot, open Integrations & API.
  2. Copy the read-only key. The main key can change monitors; the read-only key cannot.
  3. Open Integrations in StellarFirm and pick UptimeRobot.
  4. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

Permissions#

  • The read-only key can look at your monitors and nothing else.
  • Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data.
  • Reset the key in UptimeRobot whenever you want to cut access.

Good to know#

  • Calls from StellarFirm count against the same usage limit as your own use of UptimeRobot.
  • Pair it with Datadog or PagerDuty: UptimeRobot says a site is down, the others help find out why.

Prompts to try#

PromptThis week's outages
Coder, list every monitor in UptimeRobot that went down this week, for how long, and what we know about why. Read only.
PromptSlow sites
Coder, which of our sites in UptimeRobot got slower this month, and since when? Do not change any monitor.
